Content Templates & Specification

My approach to content specification is twofold:  I produce visual representations of what all the media servers will be outputting for engineering and content  templates and video production tools for the content developers to streamline video delivery.  The specification needs to cover everything from codecs, delivery due dates, naming convention and show flow.   Being a visual medium, I try and do this visually using web based communication.

  • In a complex structure, it takes more than a template.  I work to break down the template to it's application.

  • I provide content development templates in After Effects and Cinema4D to further outline the content delivery process.  I find this is essential for content providers who mostly build for the screen and are new to the concept of building content for the stage.
